To the American Community:
On August 23, 2005 I presented my credentials to President Saakashvili and became fully accredited as the United States Ambassador to Georgia. My wife, Mariella, and I are very proud that President Bush selected me as his representative in this wonderful country. It is a great honor and responsibility.
Our friends, Sharon and Dick Miles, told us how much they enjoyed Georgia, and how much they enjoyed the American Community here. We look forward to meeting each of you and to supporting American interests and organizations throughout the country. We will do all we can to support American business and the many NGO and charitable organizations that have been so active in promoting the development of this country.
