regarding human cases of H1N1 Influenza A, formerly known as swine flu. The Georgian government has not reported any cases in Georgia to date. Local authorities have begun monitoring the arrival of airline passengers from countries where outbreaks have been reported, including the United States, and registering the local destination of the traveler before the traveler is admitted into the country. The list of countries also includes Mexico, Canada,Israel, Italy, Germany, Spain, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Passengers arriving from those countries who are found to be ill will be referred to the Georgian Ministry of Health for further consultation.
