Q: I heard that it is ok to apply now even if I don’t plan to travel until July. Is this true?
A: Yes! In fact, I would encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Due to staffing gaps in the consular section, visa appointments will be limited after April until later in the summer. We will be interviewing up to 120 people per day through most of April. After April, appointments will be reduced to 50 per day, which is the number of cases that we process per day during slow seasons.(more)
Q: I plan to apply to participate in a Summer Work and Travel program this year. Could you tell me which local companies are safe to work with?
A: For legal reasons, we cannot recommend any specific companies. (more)
