Democracy Commission Small Grants

Working with the embassy's Democracy and Governance Committee, PAS administers a grants program to assist projects that support the process of democratization in Georgia. Grants are made to Georgian organizations. Once an initial proposal is prepared, PAS will review it and work with grantees if the proposal fits within the general guidelines of the Democracy Commission program.

While final approval of grants is carried out in Washington, the technical review process may last up to three months. Completed applications shall be mailed or hand delivered to the Public Affairs Office, U.S. Embassy, 11 George Balanchine Street, Tbilisi 0131, Georgia.
