Assistant Secretary of State Visits Georgia
Tbilisi– On February 12-13, Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Dan Sullivan and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Europe Paul Dyck will be in Georgia as part of a visit to the Caucasus region.
During the visit, Assistant Secretary Sullivan and Deputy Assistant Secretary Dyck will meet with President Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli, and other representatives of the Georgian government, as well as NGO and private business leaders. The Assistant Secretary and the Deputy Assistant Secretary will be discussing U.S. – Georgia economic relations, the existing business climate in Georgia and the status of foreign investment in Georgia.
