Deputy Assistant Secretary Matthew J. Bryza To Visit Georgia
U.S. Department of State Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew J. Bryza will visit Tbilisi and Abkhazia on November 17 - 19. During his visit, Deputy Assistant Secretary Bryza will meet with President Saakashvili, Prime Minister Noghaideli, government ministers, and with local representatives of the OSCE and UN. The purpose of the visit is to discuss recent events, Georgia’s integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions, and Georgia's ongoing democratic reforms. The Deputy Assistant Secretary's delegation will include Ms. Elizabeth Rood, Director of the Department of State's Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts.
