On Saturday, September 22, Ambassador Norland attended the launch of the Georgian language edition of National Geographic Magazine at the National Museum. The magazine has been published since 1888 as the official journal of the National Geographic society. It’s available in 34 languages, and is read by over 60 million people each month. The National Museum and our Embassy have had a long history of friendship and cooperation, from successful Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation projects to visiting Fulbright specialists to joint exhibits.
