Public Affairs Officer Michael Turner emphasized importance of cultural ties as an indispensable part of U.S. - Georgia partnership at a press conference organized by Rustaveli Theater in Tbilisi. Michael talked about two upcoming joint projects the U.S. Embassy is sponsoring this fall:  a 24 Hour Theater Festival at Batumi State Drama Theater in Batumi, October 28-29, and a tour of Washington, DC based Synetic Theater at Rustaveli Theater in Tbilisi, November 3, 4, 8 and 9.  “We know that Georgians value their rich and diverse culture and to be part of that is important for us,” PAO Michael Turner told journalists.
