Deputy Director of FBI John S. Pistole Is Visiting Georgia

John S. Pistole, Deputy Director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is in Georgia today to meet with Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivane Merabishvili and Prosecutor General Zurab Adeishvili, to express the FBI’s gratitude for the high level of cooperation between the two nations as that cooperation relates to combating transnational organized crime and international terrorism.
Deputy Director Pistole began his FBI career in 1983 as a Special Agent. In October 2004, he was promoted to Deputy Director, the number two position in the FBI.
