Trade Delegation Visits Tbilisi

United States Commerce Deputy Secretary John Sullivan will visit Tbilisi October 25-28 as the head of a large trade delegation.  While in Tbilisi Deputy Secretary Sullivan will meet governmental leaders, learn about Georgia’s reconstruction needs, visit joint Georgian- American business ventures, and host a Business Summit to help U.S. companies explore trade and investment opportunities in Georgia.

 

Other delegation participants will include Robert A. Mosbacher Jr., the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Larry Walther, the Director of United States Trade and Development Agency, Jack McDougle, Deputy Under Secretary for Economic Affairs in the Department of Commerce, and Paul B. Dyck, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe in the Department of Commerce. Executives of eighteen United States businesses will accompany the delegation in the largest trade delegation to visit Georgia.
