The US strongly condemns the attacks in Kampala targeting innocent spectators of theWorld Cup. Our condolences and prayers go out to the victims of this crime as well astheir family and friends.These attacks -- which came at the very moment Africa was shining on the world stageand when people around the globe had come together to share a moment of global unityand celebrate human aspiration and achievement -- demonstrate once again the threatradicalization and terrorism pose to us all.We stand with the people and government of Uganda, all Africans, and all peopleeverywhere who wish to live in peace and security.
