    • The interview is conducted one-on-one with the beneficiary only. If the petitioner wishes to attend an interview, he or she may do so. However, attorneys, family members, friends or other people unrelated to the case are not permitted to participate in an interview. An exception is made for minor children (under 16) who should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
