Description
USAID/Caucasus aims to foster a more pluralistic and higher quality exchange of ideas and to promote more active engagement of Georgian citizens in public policy discussions. It will do this through the "Improved Public Policy Discourse" request for applications (RFA) by supporting one or more competitively awarded cooperative agreements to International and/or Georgian NGOs. Projects will enhance dialogue between the government and civil society by facilitating the engagement of think tanks, media and other nongovernmental institutions as they conduct issue-based analysis and share information and approaches with the Government of Georgia and the public.
Subject to the availability of funds, USAID intends to provide approximately $600,000.00 in total USAID funding for at least one and as many as three projects, which will run for approximately 12-18 months. USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.
Eligibility
USAID will consider applications from qualified U.S. and non-U.S. entities, such as private, non-profit organizations (or for-profit companies willing to forego profits), including private voluntary organizations, universities, research organizations, professional associations, and relevant special interest associations.
