Embassy’s Political Officer Discusses the Election Process in Samtkshe-Javakheti
Political Officer Joye Davis-Kirchner spoke on the importance of free and fair elections in Georgia during her visit to Akhalkalaki and Akhaltsikhe, Samtske-Javakheti region, on December 18-19, 2007. American Speakers Discuss Pre-election Georgia with DVC Participants
On December 19 and 20, the U.S. Embassy organized a series of digital video conferences (DVCs) featuring Dr. Cory Welt and Ambassador Kenneth Yalowitz. FLEX Alumni Promote Youth Participation in Elections
US Embassy worked with FLEX alumni and the producer and moderators of Kedeli, the most popular television program for youth in Georgia, to host a mock presidential debate. A total of four “candidates” identified by the colors red, green, blue, and yellow, ran for office.(more) |
