Kevin Kirchner, GSO Housing Coordinator, and Joye L. Davis-Kirchner, Political Officer, traveled to Khashuri to talk about bowling in America. Both briefed the group on the early origins of the game, how it made its way to the United States, and the key differences between bowling in the U.S. and in other countries in Europe and Asia. Kevin brought along different types of bowling balls and accoutrements to demonstrate how equipment and form affects overall scoring. To illustrate various techniques, he showed video footage from professional bowling championship games. In the photo, Kevin is showing the group one of his many bowling trophies.
