Khashuri and Gori Discover the Beehive State

On September 28, 2006, U.S. Embassy Public Affairs intern Tyson Sadleir gave a presentation at the American Corners in Gori and Khashuri on “Utah: The Beehive State.” His presentation covered the fascinating history of Utah, what to do if you accidentally find yourself in Utah, and interesting facts of the 45th state. During the presentation, the audience also learned about Utah’s diverse climate, beautiful landscape, and what it meant to go ‘cow tipping’. Following the presentation, Tyson fielded Utah-related questions, most of which concerned the Utah Jazz.
