Freddy Cole Gives a Special Public Lecture to the Georgian Audience

On June 30th, at the request of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi and the Coca-Cola Tbilisi Jazz Festival, jazz musician Freddy Cole gave a special public lecture to a Georgian audience at the Tbilisi State Conservatory. Georgian intellectual Zurab Karumidze introduced Mr. Cole to the audience and led the discussion, which lasted for almost an hour. Questions included the importance of intellectual property rights and anti-piracy laws for musicians worldwide, Mr. Cole's life and career, and current trends in American jazz music. Freddy Cole also sang a couple of songs, which made the lecture unforgettable for everyone in attendance.
