On October 3-4, 2003, U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi held its second annual US Education Fair and Career Forum. The event, which provided information on education in the U.S. and helped alumni of U.S. Government-funded programs meet potential employers, was even more popular this year and drew over 500 participants. The three-day fair was jointly sponsored by the US Department of State, Open Society Georgia Foundation, American Councils for International Education, International Research and Exchange Board, Kvali Educational Advising Center and the Caucasus School of Business. The fair attracted the alumni of US Government-funded programs and students, scholars, and professionals from local universities. The opening of the event was attended by the U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Mrs. Patricia Moller, Vice Mayor of Tbilisi Mr. Kakha Shengelia and the rectors of the largest Georgian universities.
