Self Breast Cancer Presentation

Breast Cancer is an international health problem, problem which has no boundaries. Georgia is no exception, and Statistics have shown higher number of breast cancer in the 4th stage. For Breast Cancer awareness, US Embassy in co-operation with HERA, which studies women health issues, presented Self Breast Cancer Presentation in the American Corner at the Youth palace. The main reason was to educate women about self examination and its importance in order to protect their health and to know what steps they need to make to avoid further problems. Scanning, self-examinationl, mammograms can help to detect cancer at an early stage, when it can still be treated successfully. High interest and motivation was shown during the presentation.
