U.S. Congressional Delegation Visits Tbilisi
On May 8, a bipartisan U.S. delegation of six members of the House Committee on Armed Services, led by Rep. Susan Davis (Dem.) of California, visited Tbilisi and had meetings with Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze, Defense Minister Vasil Sikharulidze, and other senior Georgian officials, to talk about U.S.-Georgian relations, discuss recent developments in the occupied territories, and learn about Georgian military reforms.
