Educational Advisers hold workshop in Batumi (July 14-16, 2009)
The
three-day sessions in Batumi proved extremely valuable. Presentations about
financial aid, educational advising center management, annual planning,
diversity in advising, U.S. university partnerships, study abroad programs and
international student recruitment helped shape the discussions. Student advising is a key component to help
guide any student who wants to attend schools in the U.S. or who needs more
information about application forms, entry requirements, and testing. Advising services are free. In Georgia, there are two EducationUSA
advising centers -- the Center for International Education in Tbilisi with
branch offices in Batumi, Telavi, Kutaisi and Akhaltsikhe and Kvali Education
Advising Center in Tbilisi.
