Linda Conklin, a career counselor from the University of North Carolina, anchored a digital video conference (DVC) held at the U.S. Embassy with Georgian university counterparts in which she advised on how to use alumni networks to help students and alumni develop careers.  Conklin explained techniques such as individual consultations, online communication, and tele-classes as a means to teach  resume/letter writing, interview skills, and personal marketing.  Aside from obtaining basic information and know-how that can enhance their own operations, the Georgian participants felt reassured that the multiplier effect of their own efforts would extend well beyond their campuses and benefit Georgia as a whole.
