Announcing the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program Competition for 2010

The U.S. Embassy announces the opening of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program Competition for 2010.  The Democracy Commission, chaired by the Ambassador and implemented by Public Affairs Section, will award grants of up to $ 24,000 to indigenous Georgian non-profit, non-governmental, media and educational organizations that support the following initiatives: economic development, civic integration, transparency in government and rule of law.  

The application deadline is January 11, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
